Had a revision for our upcoming test which is on all the things i had learnt.

Lesson 4

We learnt how to style our Website today. Not much to talk about except for the fact that we had a few websites to go to to revise and learn about HTML and styling

Lesson 3

In this lesson, we learnt about the Hypertext Markup Languauge(HTML). We also learnt how a website is made using notepad and we had to create a website of our own which tells about a picture of a HDB given to us. Bing Qian and had to write about how the demand of HDB flats have rose due to the market.

Lesson 2

We watched a very interesting and funny video on technology today. We also had to do a forum, for me, i was supposed to discuss on the Social impact of new media. I talked about the Human Computer Interaction Device(HCI). I felt that the HCI is a very cool device to have, with so many stuff it can do, it is very convenient and fun, But the bad points about it is that it will lead people into thinking the HCI device can do anything for them and so they will not need to do it. I cited the movie Wall-E, the humans in there rely so much on technology till they became so fat and lost their ability to walk. So my stand is that the HCI device be used only in an emergency or in a controlled environment

Week 1 Lesson 1

I watched a video called " Web 2.0". It gave me an intoduction to Web 2.0 which is the internet. It also gave as some examples of web 2.0 technology like Facebook and we had to use one of its tools-blogs-to blog on our IS experience. We also saw a powerpoint titled "The Internet & World-Wide Web". I learnt the history and many other information on the internet. Like the internet was made by scientist who wanted to share their discoveries, there were only a few websites then, it then expanded to what it is now. I learnt more on the internet after this lesson.
